Greg Gaensler

My wife Marion and I have been serving at Calvary Bible Church since 2011. I am a graduate of Taylor Seminary, Edmonton. God had us also serve in churches in Edmonton, AB, Camrose, AB and in Seven Sisters Falls, MB in the past 30 years.

What we love about ministry is connecting people to Jesus and to each other. Jesus has all the answers to life’s questions because He is the Son of God who walked this Earth and went to the cross to die for our sins. He who has the Son has life everlasting (John 3:16, 1 John 5:11-12). Do you know Jesus? Follow Him as your LORD today!

We love being on the water with our boat and taking our dog for a walk talking with the amazing people of Smiths Falls. We are praying for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done among us while we wait for Jesus to return. Will you join us to love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and love your neighbour as yourself

    Administrative Steward/Treasurer: Rodney Conoley

Calvary Bible Church has been my spiritual home since September 2021. I have been blessed to be able to grow my faith amongst a wonderful church family and surrounded by the Love and Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I was born and raised in a small mining town nestled in the mountains of the beautiful Gaspe Peninsula. I made Ottawa home for 44 years along with my wife Bertha (deceased). We raised a wonderful family, Craig, Kayla and grandson Conan.  I worked in the Health Care Sector for my entire career. I have experienced a life touched by hardship and the healing hand of our Father. I have been blessed with a New Life, a wonderful gift of marriage to Anne Ryan surrounded by the love of extended family and 13 additional grandchildren. I truly enjoy being part of the CBC leadership and worship team as we continue to grow in Faith and serve in Love.
