Let's Do Life Together
People at Calvary Bible Church were asked to share their experience with life groups.
Some of the things they said:
Whether you're young or old, introverted or extroverted, a new Christian or in the faith for decades, there's a group for you.
It's hard sometimes to make friends if you're only attending Sunday morning service. Life groups are an awesome opportunity to have deeper relationships, continued spiritual growth, and social events with a consistent group of people.
Life group is where living the Christian life gets messy and beautiful at the same time. It’s where we have a safe place to be honest and vulnerable spiritually. It gives you a place to really engage with God's Word, asking questions, learning from others and praying together.
It's a place where we support one another, we celebrate victories and we walk through challenges together. Life groups helped me to feel known, supported and closer to God, and I'm very thankful for that.
A place to learn about God, to grow in my faith and for my faith to become alive. We have been able to help move people, help renovate houses, help do shingles, help in many different ways, cooked meals for the needy.
For those who want to know who God is, come! You're able to learn in a setting that is comfortable and loving and gentle and at your own pace.
